Ballymackey Biogas Concern Group will host an information evening on Monday June 23

Just a week after taking part in a protest outside Leinster House last week alongside their fellow biogas concern groups, Ballymackey Biogas Concern Group (BBCG) will be hosting an information evening in Ballymackey Community Centre on Monday June 23 at 7:30pm.

Here they will host 3 guest speakers along with Local TD's and Councillors as they discuss their opposition to the plans for an industrial-scale biogas plant in the area.

Some of the concerns to be discussed on the night include:

  • Increased traffic on local roads
  • Odour and air emissions
  • Risk of Explosion
  • Risks to water and biodiversity
  • Harm to local quality of life, property value and long-term safety

All are invited to this information evening.
