The road connecting Newcastle to Ballymacarbry was closed overnight due to a fallen tree and electricity cables close to the bridge/county bounds.
Emergency services were on the scene to clear the debris on Tuesday morning.
Anyone looking to drive east of Newcastle to the Ballymacarbry/wider Waterford area has been advised to find alternative routes.
