Roscrea Toastmasters explores thought provoking range of topics

Roscrea Toastmasters last met on Thursday, 4th October. Our President, Edward Healy welcomed all members.

It was a very entertaining night & great to see such a large crowd.

Toastmaster for the night was Liz Ryan. Topicsmaster, Jim Cummins had a very varied & thought provoking range of topics which included 'Up to 300 euros can be saved by changing utility providers.

Do you change utility providers?' to 'Hundreds of Ireland's defence forces are leaving due to poor pay conditions.

What can be done to rectify this current situation?' with lots of contributions from the members. On the night there was a prepared speech from Sean Tuohy titled 'History coming alive'.

Why not come along to Roscrea Toastmasters where in a warm, relaxed and welcoming atmosphere we help each other improve self-confidence by developing public speaking.

The next gathering will be on Thursday 18th October in the Racket Hall Hotel at 8pm.

We would love to welcome you along.

Give Brian (086-3687168) or Sean (086-0291809) a ring if you would like to find out more.
