Two Mile Borris 2 Clonmel Celtic 5
Clonmel Celtic won the Division 1 Youths Shield in the Tipperary Southern and District soccer League with a resounding 5-2 victory against Two Mile Borris.
Borris, who have recently won the youths league title, had a double in their sights when they took an early lead but Celtic stormed back into the game with goals from Cillian Fitzgerald (two), Luke Hannigan (two) and Brandon Treacy to put them into a commanding 5-1 lead before Borris got a consolation goal.

After coming up just short in the league, Celtic will be delighted to pick up some silverware.

This game between the best two teams in the league was played at a frantic pace throughout.
Borris started the brighter but once Celtic found their rhythm there was only going to be one winner.
Fitzgerald and Hannigan were excellent throughout for a Celtic side who have played some great football over the course of the season.
