Tipperary parish developing local talent in Community Games

Powerstown-Lisronagh's Eabha Dolan, Lauren Duggan and Elle Franklin.

The Powerstown Lisronagh area are successfully involved in several events on the Community Games calendar every year.

The parish's most  recent successes include the talent competition where Jack Duggan and Joe Franklin won gold medals in under 12 group music,  Ellie Franklin won silver in under 16 solo music and Eabha Dolan, Lauren Duggan and Ellie Franklin won bronze in under 16 group music.

This was a very good result for a first attempt.

The Powerstown/Lisronagh area are anxious to develop the talent events further as the ages range from under 12 to under 16 boys and girls in solo music, solo singing, solo dancing, recitation, group singing, group music and group music along with u15 mixed culture corner so something to suit all taste.

Anyone interested in becoming involved for the future please contact Grace Buckley, Area Secretary.
