Derek Runacres President's Prize The weekend was the President’s Prize. It was a glorious day and our President Derek was delighted to that all the work on the entrance and Driving Range was complete. Everybody was pleased and proud to see that we are celebrating fifty years of golf in Cahir. Derek welcomed every player and set them on their way. There was a great run on the ball and some very high scoring. On Sunday more players competed, but in totally different conditions. The Ladies winner Hilary Murphy is a very welcome new member to Cahir. She played on Sunday and brought in a score of 41 points.
