Disruption on roads continues to escalate as of Thursday afternoon as drivers around Tipperary are seen to be flocking to the nearest petrol station with rumours rampant of shops running out of fuel across the country.

In Tipperary and across the country, many roads are still affected by blockades, slow-moving convoys, and demonstrations. Now, local shops are having to take precautions to conserve as much fuel as they can, with no clear end to the upheavel in sight.

In a post on social media this afternoon, Londis Templemore have said:

"‼️‼️ Important notice ‼️‼️

"As a temporary measure a MAXIMUM purchase of €20 petrol/ diesel per customer will only be allowed until further notice.

"This is to be fair to all our customers and is in place until normal fuel deliveries resume .

"We regret any inconvenience."

Though Londis Templemore may be one of the only ones to alert drivers on social media, there have been a number of local reports that petrol stations in Tipperary are running low and even out of fuel.
