Tipperary woman chosen as Grand Master of American St Patrick's Day celebrations

Noreen O’Shea (nee Moloney), daughter of Paddy and Nora Moloney of Rahealty, has been chosen to represent Tipperary as Grand Master for the St Patrick Day Parade in her community, which took place in Clearwater, Florida on March 1.

Noreen immigrated to America over 60 year ago and has made a wonderful life for herself, but her heart never left Ireland.

Noreen is in constant contact with her sister Eileen, who still resides in the family home in Rahealty.

All of her family in Ireland are so very proud of her, for the honour that she has received from her community.

Noreen's sister Eileen, nieces Christine and Brenda, and nephew Patrick say that they are thrilled that her community can see what a wonderful and kind person she is, and they send all their love and best wishes on on very special day.
