New Tipperary McDonald's restaurant to create 90 new jobs

The new Thurles McDonald’s restaurant will open up almost 100 new jobs in the town
McDonald's will open its latest new restaurant in Ireland in Thurles, Co Tipperary, on August 19.
Underpinned by an investment of over €5.6 million, the new restaurant will create 90 new jobs within the local community.
The Thurles restaurant will provide a mix of full-time and part-time crew member positions, alongside opportunities in mid and senior management, further strengthening McDonald's presence in Tipperary.
McDonald's Franchisee John Quirke, who also operates the McDonald's restaurant in Nenagh, welcomed the expansion: "I'm delighted to continue growing McDonald's in Tipperary following the opening of my first restaurant in Nenagh in 2023. The addition of our new restaurant in Thurles marks an exciting milestone, and we look forward to building strong connections within the local community there. We're proud to bring new jobs, investment and opportunities to the area, and we can't wait to get to know the people of Thurles and the wider Tipperary community even better."
The new 418-square-metre restaurant will feature a dual lane Drive-Thru, 30 total car parking spaces, bicycle parking, electric vehicle charging facilities and an outdoor seating area.
The restaurant will trade seven days a week from 6am until 10pm.
The opening of the Thurles restaurant brings the total number of McDonald's restaurants in the Republic of Ireland to 98.
Every McDonald's restaurant in Ireland is owned and operated by 18 local Franchisees, who collectively employ more than 7,500 people nationwide.
