Tipperary gardaí intervened to stop a speeding driver in Cahir

Gardaí in Tipperary seized a vehicle in Cahir after a learner permit holder was detected speeding this week.

The incident was reported by the Tipperary Roads Policing Unit, who confirmed that further checks revealed the driver had no insurance. The car was seized at the scene, and a court appearance is expected to follow.

Gardaí have reminded motorists that insurance is a legal requirement and that road safety enforcement will continue as part of efforts to maintain road safety.

The operation is part of ongoing policing initiatives aimed at reducing dangerous driving and promoting safer roads across the county.
