Ms McTighe said she was leaving one brilliant school community to join another equally brilliant school in Carrick-on-Suir.
“I am delighted to be afforded the privilege of leading Scoil Mhuire.
"The dedication of the outgoing principal, Ms. Mary O’ Keeffe, along with deputy principal, Ms Michelle O’ Sullivan and their wonderful staff in providing quality teaching and learning rooted in an ethos of care, respect and community is something I look forward to nurturing and building upon in the years ahead.”
