Stunning portrait of Jon Kenny by Tipperary artist surfaces after comedian's tragic passing

Tipp Town artist Neil O’Dwyer recently painted this canvas portrait of the late Jon Kenny for the Creamery gastropub in Hospital, county Limerick.

Jon’s portrait was commissioned just six weeks ago by proprietor Al FitzGerald as a tribute to one of Ireland’s true original comic characters and much loved thespians.

Jon was a great favourite with audiences and his loss will be keenly felt not only by his wife, children, siblings and family, but by the thousands of fans who enjoyed his wonderful comedic portrayals, as well as his acting and musical ability.
