A resident has highlighted littering at a popular walking spot in Tipperary Town.
The person was in the hills walking and came across littering with cans strewn everywhere.
They added: "Why the people who did this think it's ok to litter a beautiful place. TAKE YOUR RUBBISH WITH YOU."
Other on social media have been reacting furiously.
One said: "It's goes to show aswell the novelty of the deposit return scheme is beginning to wear off I see it regularly now in Cashel the cans and bottles are reappearing."
Another said: "That is disgrace. Someone has no respect for the hills."
One added: "That's scandalous...same with dogs fouls lately."
One said: "I wish people would stop littering the hills such a shame. I’m tired of picking up litter there every week."
