Beautiful bridge is being restored in Cordangan
The upgrade work being carried out on the bridge in Cordangan outside Tipperary Town has been welcomed.
Cllr Annemarie Ryan was delighted to see the work being carried out on the bridge.
"A while back, residents in Cordangan asked me if Tipperary County Council could carry out upgrades to the bridge. Thanks to the engineers for delivering this project.
The contractor is doing a really good job in repairing and sensitively restoring the stonework.
It's a beautiful bridge and it's great to see it being restored to its former glory. The river Ara is looking very clear too.
