6. Bryan O'Mara Rating: 7/10 A player who looks like he has dozens of games at centre back for Tipp, such was his composure and performance on Sunday. He has put on significant bulk since his last Tipperary appearance back in 2021, and his use of the ball on Sunday was top class. Dragged down Robyn Mounsey for a penalty in the first half and was black carded, which was the only mark against him on the day.

7. Enda Heffernan Rating: 7/10 Heffernan had an assured display on Sunday, gaining an early confidence boosting point after being teed up by Sean Ryan. Certainly has the physicality for this level and moves well with the ball. A positive performance.

8. Paddy Cadell Rating: 6/10 A man that is quickly running out of rope at this level. He has struggled to put together a full 70 in a Tipperary jersey in his time at senior. The game again passed him by on Sunday, and he never really got his foothold. It is only the second game of the year, but he needs to start delivering on his undoubted potential soon.

9. Conor Stakelum Rating: 8/10 One of the best performers on the field in blue and gold. Stakelum is a wrecking ball with huge energy and he put in a mammmoth shift again, which has been a hallmark of his short time at this level. Chipped in with 0-2 in the game, and if he can continue that scoring contribution and marry it with his work rate he will be a regular feature this year.
