10. Alan Tynan Rating: 7/10 Another steady performance from Tynan, he delivered another tireless effort on the wing. Missed a glorious goal chance in the first half, but made up for it soon after with a piercing run down the centre of the Clare defence to set up Sean Ryan. A real positive.

11. Gearoid O'Connor Rating: 8/10 Probably the best on show in the game, O'Connor was on the ball constantly. Won high ball, dirty possession, hit his frees well and turned provider on several occasions. Extremely welcomed performance, as big, ball winning half forwards are at a premium for Tipp.

12. Seamus Kennedy Rating: 7/10 A surprise inclusion at wing forward for many, but Kennedy showed his versatility here with a good display. He rarely wastes possession and his hard running was a big weapon. It could be an experiment worth persisting with.

13. Jake Morris Rating: 6/10 Not his best day in a Tipp jersey, he largely struggled to get into the game, scoring a first half point and leaving another few wide of the target. He did win the two second half penalties for Tipp, but more is expected, albeit it was his first outing of the year.
