Free even taking place in Tipperary to celebrate St Bridget's Day

Next Sunday will see local artist Lynn Kirkham will celebrate St. Brigid’s day by inviting everyone and anyone to the village hall in Killea where she will demonstrate the ancient tradition of the making of St. Brigid’s cross.

The celebration will take place on Sunday, January 26, from from 12.30pm to 5pm in the Killea Hall in Tipperary.

Light a candle and learn to weave crosses in different styles and Brídog Dolls.

Come along and bring a friend to this free event. Cash donations welcome on the day.

This event has proved quite popular in recent years and is well worth a visit.
