Today, Thursday, May 1st, marks one year since a local group organised a vigil in Borrisoleigh playground—a moving and memorable evening where people gathered in solidarity with the people of Palestine through music, song, and poetry.
This year, they will come together again to show that we haven’t forgotten. That they are still hoping and calling for a ceasefire, lasting peace, and a free Palestine
The vigil begins at 8:30 p.m. in the playground—please help spread the word. They're especially looking forward to welcoming children from Barnane, Drom , Inch, and Borrisoleigh, who will be joining us for some traditional music, poetry, and songs.
All are welcome. Please bring a candle.
