The 2 Johnnies stake claim for Christmas No 1

Hometown Christmas, the latest single from The 2 Johnnies, is available to download now from itunes

The premier county's favourite music stars The 2 Johnnies are preparing to go head to head with Ed Sheeran and the late George Michael to earn the coveted Christmas number one spot with their latest release ‘Hometown Christmas' with all proceeds raised from the song going directly to Temple Street Hospital in Dublin.

It's been a phenomenal year for the Tipperary duo who have conquered the charts and social media with their rip roaringly funny videos and musical numbers including ‘The Boom is Back’ and ‘Junior B All Star'.

“We feel very proud to be working with Temple Street Children’s Hospital in ensuring that all proceeds of the single go towards helping the patients and staff.

“Christmas is a time for giving, so we thought it was especially fitting to team up with such an important and fantastic organisation that works hard to help those in need,” explained one half of the duo Johnny B of the recent collaboration.

“We hope that everyone can relate to something that they hear in this song. It’s lighthearted fun meant for all the family and it’s all in the name of Temple Street Children’s Hospital, which is even better,” he added.

Earlier this year the boys reached over 100,000 fans on their Facebook page and performed their first live, full comedy show, as part of the Clonmel Junction Festival.

‘Hometown Christmas’ is available now for 99c on iTunes and Spotify. All proceeds to to Temple Street Children’s Hospital.
