Tipperary sport made more accessible thanks to new investment

Sport in Tipperary has been made more accessible thanks to an investment with funding from Sport Ireland.

Tipperary Sports Partnership have invested in sports wheelchairs, basketball equipment, and an indoor table tennis table and playing equipment to make sport more accessible for all.

The funding came from the Dormant Accounts Fund and Sport Ireland, comes in collaboration with Tipperary Warriors Multi Sports Club and the Irish Wheelchair Association (IWA) Tipperary.

The resources will not only enhance training opportunities for the club members in basketball but also introduces table tennis to the club.

With the new indoor table tennis and equipment, members of the club will have the chance to learn and enjoy a new sport, promoting inclusivity and physical activity.
