'It's home,' council share heart-warming snap of care that goes into Premier County

Tipperary is a special place and it takes a lot of looking after!

Tipperary County Council on Friday shared a snapshot of its street-cleaning crews in action as part of #YourCouncilDay2025.

In a Facebook post, the council explained: “It’s more than cleaning, it’s caring for the place we all call home,” and highlighted its work across town.

The accompanying images show a council operative using a walk-behind mower to trim grass and edge pathways, alongside a second shot of a ride-on mower tidying a broad swath of grassed public open space.
