Tipperary hotel to host MEPs for critical agriculture debate

The Cahir House Hotel will host MEP election candidates from major political parties as well as independent candidates as they gather for a critical debate around agricultural and rural issues affecting the South constituency ahead of the upcoming European elections.

The debate is set for Tuesday, May 28, from 7.30pm to 9.30pm with the agenda including a discussion on the role the EU plays within agricultural and rural development in Ireland.

Renowned broadcaster Ivan Yates will MC the event at the Cahir House Hotel, and it is supported by the Communicating Europe Initiative 2024 and the Department of Foreign Affairs.

“The Rural and Agricultural South Constituency Election Debate in Cahir is a critical platform for voters to engage with candidates and understand their stances on vital agricultural and rural matters," said Jason Webb, Content Director of event organisers, Agri Insider. “We urge all individuals with interests in these issues to register for free and participate in this unique opportunity.”

Attendance at the debate is open to the public however, individuals interested in securing their place for this free event must register at Eventbrite.ie promptly due to limited availability.
