12. Alan Tynan Rating: 8/10 The ground the Roscrea man covered on Saturday night was nothing short of phenomenal. He really did set the tone from the get-go for his teammates in the middle third battle, adding scoring threat with assists for Jake Morris' goal and a clever flick for Jason Forde's first point. Added a beauty of a point in the second half and his disruptive work in general led to several other scores in the second half. He looks like a man on a mission for 2025.

11. Jake Morris Rating: 7/10 Scored a trademark goal early in the first half and while he is not scoring as heavily as we might expect from a marquee forward like he is, it can't be denied that he is working his socks off. He had at least three turnovers throughout the game and seems to be creating a scenario for opposition centre-backs on whether to follow him out the pitch or not; Christopher Joyce was pulled out of position for both goals as a result. He is a natural inside forward but it seems to be a case of needs must for Tipp at the moment.

10. Gearoid O'Connor Rating: 7/10 Didn't hit his Fitzgibbon Cup final form but quietly contributed to the scoreboard which is exactly what he is in the team to do. He got around the pitch well and if he could marry that scoring threat with more aggression and nous out of possession, he will turn into a real weapon for Tipp Scored three fine points in the game and looked confident in his play.

13. Darragh McCarthy Rating: 8/10 The 19-year-old produced a first-half performance for the ages in this game. He had an experienced defender in Ger Millerick under severe pressure, scoring five points from play and, again, hitting his frees very well. It is easy to forget how young McCarthy is with the body of recent work he has produced, but it is exciting for supporters to have a talent like his in the team, and what he can bring this year and for years to come.
