Tipperary referee appointed as an official for the All-Ireland football final

Tipperary referee to be part of officiating team as Martin McNally takes charge of Kerry vs Mayo decider
Tipperary's Sean Lonergan has been appointed as the sideline official for the 2026 GAA Football All-Ireland Senior Championship final between Kerry and Mayo.
The GAA confirmed the full officiating team on Wednesday, with Monaghan referee Martin McNally set to take charge of his first senior All-Ireland football final when the sides meet in Croke Park on Sunday, July 26.
While McNally's appointment is the headline announcement, there is also Tipperary representation among the match officials, with Lonergan selected as the sideline official for the showpiece decider.
The Kerry-Mayo showdown will be McNally's 32nd senior inter-county championship match since making his debut at that level in 2018.
His score umpires will be fellow Corduff club members Ben Woods, Niall Reilly, Mark Gilsenan and Anthony Marron. Alongside Tipperary's Sean Lonergan as sideline official, Killian Jones of Kildare will act as Hawkeye official, while Sligo's Marty Duffy has been named time official.
