The sunset over Littleton Briquette factory on the final day of production captures the emotion of the factory closure

The burners fell silent at the briquette factory in Littleton for the last time, last week and local man Seamus Cashin was on hand to record the scene with his camera.

Have a look and see the as the sunset brought the curtain down on the production of briquettes at Littleton - a sad day indeed for the workers, their families and the local community at large.

But, the sun rose again the following morning and so too with the locality.
