Last Sunday’s Big Breakfast fundraiser was without any doubt a huge success.
On a wet, miserable morning from 10am onwards, there wasn’t a free table in Burncourt Community Hall such was the response to a cooked breakfast and the freshly baked breads.
It was a great family and social occasion with lots of tea and chat. Burncourt Community Council who like to thank all not just from Burncourt but also those from the neighbouring communities who responded so generously to the fundraiser.
None of it would have been possible without the great work done by the unsung heroes - the team of volunteers in the kitchen and in the hall. Full list of sponsors in next week’s notes.
