NEW: Thurles Tourist Office issue appeal to locals ahead of All Ireland Final weekend

The tourist office in Thurles want to see the town draped in Premier colours

10 days out from Tipperary's biggest hurling match in over half a decade, Thurles Tourist Office have issued an urgent appeal to business owners and residents alike.

They are appealing to "all the businesses, cafes, pubs, restaurants, and shops in Thurles.

"Get involved in decorating your shop front to show support for the Tipperary team in the All Ireland final. Let’s make Thurles blue and gold!"

Make sure to send in any photos of supporters, jerseys, flags, bunting that you wear or see across the weekend to the Tipperary Star.
