The one change I have suggested here would be introducing Alan Tynan from the start. The Roscrea man has come back to full fitness after the hamstring injury sustained against Clare in the Munster Championship.
He had a fine impact off the bench against Kilkenny and looked fresh and eager. His ability to cover ground and his high energy levels are something that would be hugely beneficial either at wing forward or midfield, especially considering the damage that Darragh Fitzgibbon and Tim O'Mahony have done this year.
Willie Connors would feel hard done by to miss out, but he struggled with the pace of Kilkenny in the second half of the semi-final, and he may have a better impact coming off the bench when the game opens up.
