A day to savour for Shelly, who became the first Moycarkey Borris man to win an All-Ireland title since John Flanagan in 1971, and he also became the second Moycarkey Borris goalie to start a winning final since John O'Grady in 1958!
And how deserved he is to join that company after a sterling final performance, with his distribution peerless while also capping it off with a penalty save and a first-ever point from play for a goalkeeper in an All-Ireland final! Dream stuff for Shelly!
