'Had me hooked' - Tipperary's Sharlene Mawdsley weighs in on The 2 Johnnies catfish scandal

Olympian Sharlene Mawdsely has gotten personal on social media this week as she asked her fans to "ask her a question".

The impressive athlete from Newport, Tipperary, took to Instagram on Tuesday to let fans in on her favourite cheat day meal, her favourite holiday, and she has even weighed in on The 2 Johnnies catfish scandal that has shocked the nation in recent weeks.

Mawdsely posted a story on her Instagram saying she was having a "chill day" from being on the go since returning from South Africa, where she attended a rigorous training camp for most of January, so her fans could ask her some personal questions.

All of the questions were then posted in her story with her answer and a corresponding picture.

The Newport native competed in several races at the 2024 Olympics, including the women's 4x400m relay race, which saw Ireland claim an incredible fourth place.
