A Tipperary art's festival has announced the cancellation of one of its planned concerts due to the band's visas.
Clonmel Junction Arts Festival announced today that the Gonora Sounds concert on Thursday July 10 in Baker's Bar, Clonmel has been cancelled due to the band’s visas not being issued to travel in time.
Rebecca Lenehan, Artistic Director, says: “We're really disappointed we won't be welcoming Gonora Sounds to Clonmel this year and to our ticket-holders please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused in the circumstances.
We are making contact with you to arrange a full refund.”

A spokesperson for Gonora Sounds says: "Thank you so much for buying a ticket to come and see Gonora Sounds play in Clonmel on July 10. We are very disappointed to have to cancel this show, along with others, due to a long visa delay.
"It’s frustrating to not come play for you, even after applying for visa months ago. We hope to get the chance to come to Ireland in the future, perhaps we will play for you then. Apologies again for this."
The Clonmel Junction Arts Festival Box Office will be in contact with all ticket-holders directly to arrange a full refund for all tickets purchased for Gonora Sounds.
