The Gealán Quartet mesmerised the audience with the outstanding mastery of their instruments and a sound quality that was only more emphasised by the wonderful acoustics of the Great Hall. It is no wonder that as chamber musicians this Quartet has become so popular that they sell out everywhere they appear.

With a second successful Irish tour through the National String Quartet Foundation under their belt and a residency at the Centre Culturel Irlandais in Paris in 2022, The Gealán Quartet has definitively established itself on the world stage and will only go from strength to strength. A fantastic evening was enjoyed by all!

The Quartet musicians are Gina Maria McGuinness on violin, Eoin Ducrot on violin, Fiachra de hOra on viola and Paul Grennan on cello. They received a standing ovation after their concert in Cahir Castle and we look forward to hearing what happens next for the amazing Gaelán String Quartet.
