PJ O’Connell is an Irish Abstract Artist based in Thurles. In this latest series of works great stress has been given given to the physicality of application of paint resulting in repetitive phrases and shifting layers resulting in wondrous paintings.

P.J has exhibited work in solo and group shows in Ireland and abroad since 1987. He has paintings in private collections in Ireland, Europe, North America, Africa and Australia.

Artist Maurice Quillinan grew up in Limerick and has exhibited widely both nationally and internationally. His work is represented in the public and private collections of thirty four countries.

Maurice originally trained as a sculptor although he also did print and painting, and said “my main passion was drawing all the way through.” Inspired by the places he has visited and lived in, Maurice sees see art as a conversation that he transposes to canvas with mesmerising effect.
