The hugely popular ‘Hats, Bonnets and Ribbons Day’ will be held at a Tipperary venue

The Daughters of Dún Iascaigh, Cahir will hold the hugely popular ‘Hats, Bonnets and Ribbons Day’ once again this year in Cahir.

The event will take place on March 1, 2026, in Cahir House Hotel with a start time of 2pm.

Free Workshops have been organised to create your very own Hats or Bonnets for the ‘Hats, Bonnets and Ribbons Day’. These workshops will take place in Cahir Arts on Castle Street on this Friday, February 6 from 10am to 12 noon, Saturday, February 14 from 10am to 12 noon and 1pm to 3pm on the same day and February 16 & 23 from 3-5pm in the Cahir ETB.

Following on the successful fundraiser with the same title in 2022, this year the Daughters will hold an event that will include refreshments, teas & coffees and a raffle with lots of spot prizes in Cahir House Hotel and on March 1, 2026, starting at 2pm.

There will also be prizes for the best hat, music and lots of fun and all to raise funds for Cuan Saor Women’s Refuge and the Clonmel Rape Crisis Centre. Tickets are €30 each and are available to purchase at Cahir House Hotel.
