Carrick Swan Junior A hurlers face Fr Sheehys in their next game

Carrick Swan GAA Club's Junior A hurlers were unfortunately defeated by Clonmel Óg on Sunday.

They play Fr Sheehys next on Saturday, June 5 at 7pm at the Clonmel Óg GAA grounds on the Clonmel bypass.

The Junior B hurlers kick off their championship with a game agains Clerihan on Friday, July 4 at the Clonmel Óg grounds on the Clonmel bypass at 7.30pm.

The Under 17A hurlers were due to start their championship against Moyle Rovers this week but the game has been postponed.

The Under 13B hurlers were beaten by Fr Sheehys.  They play Clerihan away on Tuesday at 6.45pm and they play Ballylooby in another away game on Friday at 6.45pm.  

The Under 13D hurlers were beaten by Killenaule.

The Under 8 camogie team competed in a blitz in Ballylooby. They played brilliantly in all four blitz games.

The cygnets travelled to Killenaule for a football blitz. They played three teams. All the kids were brilliant and loved playing football.

Charlie plays for Tipp

Charlie Torpey Walsh lined out for the Tipperary Under 14 hurlers on Saturday in Thurles, playing two games and going on to win the cup.

Special mention must go to the Swan Club's Jamie "Busker" Sweetman, who is a selector on the team.

All at Carrick Swan Club extend condolences to the Broxson family of Pearse Square, Carrick and the Bennett/ Fitzpatrick family of Cluain Cregg on the death of loved ones.
