Tipperary County Council has made an order to temporarily close the roads near Ballyneale and Kilcash to facilitate the repair and replacement of water mains

Two Tipperary roads to close for five months starting next week

Tipperary County Council has made an order to temporarily close the L-2602 from its junction with the N76 Clonmel to Kilkenny Road to its junction with the L-2514 at Kylanoreashy and the L-2514 to its junction with the L-2513 and L-6605-1 for five months from next Monday, July 7. 

The closure of the roads is to facilitate the repair and replacement of water mains that will include reinstatement of the road carriageway and verges where required. 

The roads will close from 7am on Monday, July 7 to 7pm on Sunday, November 9. 

Kilcash to Ballydine traffic will be diverted via the N76 to the Kilheffernan roundabout and onto the N24 Eastbound through Kilsheelan and on the junction of the L2513 turning north to its junction with the L-2514.

Ballydine to Kilcash traffic will be diverted west on the L-2513 to the N24 turning west on the N24 and travel through Kilsheelan to the Kilheffernan roundabout, turning eastbound onto the N76 and on to Kilcash Junction with the L-2601.
