St. Molleran's GAA Club in Carrick-on-Suir congratulates club player Gearóid O’Shea (pictured below), who achieved Leinster Schools’ Championship honours on Saturday with St. Kieran’s College, Kilkenny hurling team following an excellent contest against Kilkenny CBS in Nowlan Park.

Congratulations also to adult club member Bobby Drohan, who was part of the Mary Immaculate College Limerick team that qualified for the Fitzgibbon Cup final.

The final takes place this Friday in Croke Park and the club wishes Bobby and his teammates the very best of luck. Members are encouraged to travel to Dublin to offer their support.

St. Molleran's GAA Club held a medal presentation at The Carraig Hotel last Saturday evening for juvenile boys and girls who enjoyed county championship success in recent seasons.

The club thanks the Carraig Hotel for hosting a very enjoyable night.

The club was delighted to welcome Bobby Drohan, currently training with the Waterford Senior Hurling panel, along with local dual star Keeley Corbett-Barry of De La Salle Camogie Club and Comeragh Rangers Ladies Football Club, who presented the medals on the night.

The club thanks both for giving their time.

With the new season approaching, best wishes are extended to all teams. While activity is relatively quiet at present, Páirc Naomh Maoilairáin will soon be bustling once again, with the opening of the club’s new AstroTurf facility expected in the coming weeks. Further details to follow.

Meanwhile, congratulations to the Waterford Senior hurlers on their National Hurling League round three win over Offaly at Walsh Park on Sunday and commiserations to the Waterford Senior footballers who were narrowly defeat on Sunday afternoon at Fraher Field.
