The woman was conveyed to University Hospital Limerick for treatment of serious injuries. She was pronounced deceased yesterday evening.

A new restaurant has opened in Tipperary and locals are heaping praise on its offering.
Sadler's restaurant is located in the heart of Fethard deep in equine country and is the sister restaurant to Mikey Ryan’s in Cashel, owned by the Magnier family of Coolmore Stud.
In a post, the Cashel Palace Hotel said: "Our new restaurant Sadler's Fethard is NOW OPEN! Congratulations to all of the team. We look forward to offering guests a new dining experience in the heart of horse country."
The site in Fethard was formerly Dook’s restaurant and the new restaurant opened in the last few weeks.
One person on social media commented: "Great addition to our local area. Great food and love the decor. Congratulations to all involved."
Another added: "The food and service was great, the decor is fab too. We will definitely be back."
