In August, the site generated a whopping 3.3m pageviews - boasting over 835,000 users - helped largely by the web traffic for the wedding of Conor McGregor’s sister, Erin, at the Cashel Palace Hotel.
The Premier County’s leading news website tipperarylive.ie continues to break records in 2024 and is now consistently hitting over 3m pageviews a month, writes Regional Editor and Digital Development Director for Iconic Media Group, Darren Hassett.
The busy community news website - powered by The Nationalist and Tipperary Star - has seen exponential growth over the last few years and has also been nominated for an award at the Local Ireland Media Awards 2024.
While June and July of 2024 were record-breaking months for tipperarylive.ie, August smashed all the records AGAIN as the surge in support for the site continues.
The previous highest-ever monthly pageviews total for the site came in August 2023 with 2.58m over the four-week period from a total of 540,000 users.
That record - helped by the Local Elections on June 7 of this year - was smashed in June with an astonishing 2.67m pageviews achieved across the month.
But it didn’t stop there, the site broke the 3m pageviews mark for the first time ever in July with a whopping 3.2m pageviews over the four weeks - boasting over 800,000 users.
This was an incredible achievement in just five short years and it reflected the continuing move towards the digital era in Tipperary.
To break the 3m pageviews mark once is something, but to do it back-to-back for the months of July and August would have been dreamland and that’s exactly what happened...
In August, the site generated a whopping 3.3m pageviews - boasting over 835,000 users - helped largely by the web traffic for the wedding of Conor McGregor’s sister, Erin, at the Cashel Palace Hotel recently.
The platform tipperarylive.ie is clearly the number one online news source for people in the county and those abroad, with monthly users of over 800,000 each month - many of whom are expatriates.
We look forward to your continued support.
