Councillor Liam Browne is set for a new challenge in the coming months as he takes on the role of 'celebrity' in aid of two local clubs in Cashel.
This fundraiser initiative is unlike anything you've seen before, with the 'Cashel Rugby Club V Cashel King Cormac's Jungle Challenge' set to take place on Sunday, June 1.
Featuring snakes and other creepy crawlies, it's a chance to see the councillor, and many others, like you've never seen them before!
Taking to social media to announce his participation, Mr Browne joked, "Apparently now I'm a celebrity so I have to deal with all kinds of snakes and slippery characters.. so not much different from politics eh.
"I am also delighted to take part in this years fundraiser for Cashel Rugby and Cashel King Cormac's GAA Club. This is going to be an epic night of craic, with the two clubs raising much needed funds to run their clubs over the coming year.
"From next week, myself and all the other brave adventurers will be asking you to dig deep and help out, and raise some money for the two clubs," he concluded before giving a sneak peak of images into the fun times ahead.
