Date fixed for Tipperary County Council's Annual General Meeting in Cashel

Halla na Féile in Cashel is where Tipperary County Council's AGM will take place on June 27

Tipperary County Council’s elected members will gather to elect a new Cathaoirleach to chair the local authority for the next year at their annual meeting in Cashel at 11am on Friday, June 27.

The Council’s AGM will take place in Halla na Féile in the current Cathaoirleach Cllr Declan Burgess’ hometown as per custom.

“I am delighted to be bringing my last meeting as Cathaoirleach to Cashel and I look forward to welcoming you there,” he told fellow councillors when he announced the AGM date and venue at the Council’s May meeting in Nenagh.
