Last year, a group of approximately 300 people met on the plaza in Cashel to remember all those who had died during what they claim is one year of genocide in Gaza and the West Bank.
A similar event is being organised for Wednesday, October 8 to mark the second anniversary of the war.
This is being organised by Cashel for Palestine, a group of people who meet every Tuesday evening at 7pm on the plaza in Cashel to stand in solidarity with those who they say are suffering under Israeli bombardment, starvation and occupation.
Last year the group of approximately 300 people walked from the plaza, up towards Ladyswell Street and back down Dominic's Street towards the town centre, followed by music and speakers on the plaza.
It's hoped to have music and speakers on the night at October 8.
All are welcome to attend.
