'Cashel is not safe,' says Tipperary woman after mask-wearing men try and steal car

A shocking incident!
"Cashel is not safe," says a Tipperary woman whose sister's car was broken into on Christmas Day.
The woman, who contacted tipperarylive.ie, said the culprits "unsuccessfully attempted to steal the car" and it happened on Christmas Day night "when we were sound in bed from the festivities".

"Unfortunately it's not been a night of good cheer for everyone," said Cllr Liam Browne on social media on December 26.
He added: "There was a spate of car break ins, in Cashel town last night (Christmas Day), and others from last weekend.
"There's a small group of youngsters going around late at night, breaking into cars, causing considerable damage. This has happened in Rockwood and Caiseal na Ri.
"If those involved are seeing this, or someone who knows who they are, are seeing this, there is a lot of video evidence which I cannot post as its now with the gardaí...but please stop it, before someone gets seriously hurt."
