Under 15 Friendly

High School CBS 25 Glenstal Abbey 10

Our Under 15 team continued to prepare for the Cleary Cup with an impressive win away to Glenstal on Wednesday week last. The match was played in sunny conditions and both teams offered up an impressive display of rugby.

The High School began well and settled into the match. Following some good passing, Jaden Doolan scored their first try in the corner. Minutes later, following a scrum in the Glenstal 22, Rian Galko used his strength and pace to extend the High School’s lead to 10 nil at the break.

The High School continued to dominate in the second half with tries from Cody Lee and Rian Galko (2) to put the result beyond doubt. Glenstal scored two well- deserved late tries.

Under 14 Friendly

High School CBS 10 Glenstal Abbey 15

Our Under 14 team travelled with our Under 15s to Glenstal on Wednesday week last to play a friendly.

The High School scored two very good tries from Jamie Cahill and Tony O’Brien. There was very little between the teams and the High School were unlucky not to score a few more tries.

The match gave an opportunity for all panel members to play and practice what they have been learning at training. It was a great effort boys, keep up the good work.
