Cross border healthcare clinics are being held this week in Tipperary
The Northern Ireland Planned Healthcare Scheme and operated by the HSE, entitles Irish patients wating for surgery procedures in the Republic of Ireland to obtain treatment, in either a public or private setting, within Northern Ireland. Waiting times for procedures are much shorter than in the Republic so this may be of huge interest to many people.
There are two drop-in clinics being facilitied by local man John O Heney, for anyone who wishes to meet the Kingsbridge Hospital team from Belfast in person to talk about Cross Border Healthcare. The first clinic is this Thursday in the Spafield Family Resource Centre in Cashel and the second clinic is this Friday in the Excel Heritage Centre in Tipperary Town.
There has been a big uptake on both clinics with the Tipperary Town clinic almost full, while there is some space still available in the Cashel one.
Dates and Locations:
Thursday March 23rd: Spafield Family Resource Centre in Cashel. 10am-5pm
Friday March 24th: The Excel Heritage Centre in Tipperary Town. 10am-4pm
You can pre-register for these clinics by sending a message by email to:

Drop-In's on both days are welcome too, but please pre-register so you are not waiting too long on the day.
