Tipperary hotel pays tribute to 'true star' in their front of house team

A Tipperary lady has been celebrated by her employer for her "welcoming presence" and her dedication to customer service.

Robyn Cronin works at the Talbot Hotel in Clonmel, and her love of chatting with customers have made her a firm favourite among guests and staff alike since she started working there in 2022.

Robyn works in the hotel's bar and restaurant, bringing positive energy to every shift she works.

"Whether she’s opening the restaurant for breakfast or serving behind the bar, Robyn brings energy, kindness, and great conversation to every shift," the hotel said on social media, paying tribute to the popular staff member.

As well as working in the hotel, Ms Cronin also holds a degree in Irish and Music, plays the guitar, and is currently completing her Master’s in Irish, and writing a thesis focused on Irish Film.

"When she’s not at work, you’ll likely find her diving into her thesis or daydreaming about her next visit to the Gaeltacht. Robyn loves immersing herself in Irish Culture in the Gaeltacht, keeping the Irish language alive," a post on social media said.

Robyn also plans on undertaking a PhD in Irish in a number of years.
