Banna Chluain Meala will lead Clonmel’s Corpus Christi Procession, which will take place in the town centre this Thursday evening, June 19.
The combined parishes of St Mary’s, Ss Peter and Paul’s and St Oliver’s are organising the traditional procession that will depart from St Mary’s Church in Irishtown at 6pm.

The procession will include First Communion and Confirmation children from all the parishes, Girls Guides, Scouts, members of the Legion of Mary, St Vincent de Paul, ONE and Clonmel Borough District and Tipperary County Council representatives, TDs and members of other local organisations and groups.

People taking part will assemble at St Mary’s Church at 5.30pm. The procession will travel through the West Gate to the Main Guard, where there will be a short stop at a temporary altar for prayers. It will then continue to Ss Peter and Paul’s Church for Benediction.
All are welcome to join in this celebration of Corpus Christi Feast Day.
