Celebrating its twentieth anniversary, Culture Night returns on Friday September 19,inviting the public to enjoy culture, creativity, and the arts throughout Tipperary.
This nationwide event, made possible through the continued support of the Arts Council and Local Authorities across Ireland, offers free access to an exciting range of creative and cultural events and activities late into the evening.

Over 40 events are presented by imaginative and dedicated artists, cultural organisations, community groups and volunteers from all corners of Tipperary. From theatre to music, visual arts, poetry, film, artistic workshops, guided tours and live performances, there is plenty to explore and something for all ages.
Among the events is a collaborative show at the The South Tipperary Arts Centre. the STAC invites you to their space in Nelson Street at 6pm for the exhibition and live performance of The Landscape Swallows our Histories.

This duo show by artists Amanda Rice & Jo Pester showcases a new collaborative 8mm film work, alongside their radio play, Magical Body, which will be activated as a performance during Culture Night.
