Tipperary celebration of the spiritual and symbolic power of the Saint and Goddess Brigid

The procession of the Sliabh na mBan Brigid Cloak is leaving at 5pm from the Main Guard and proceeding to Old St Mary’s Church in Clonmel

Clonmel Applefest has organised a Brigid's Eve procession and recital in Clonmel on Saturday, January 31.

The procession of the Sliabh na mBan Brigid Cloak is leaving at 5pm from the Main Guard and proceeding to Old St Mary’s Church.

Warm drinks will be served at the church and the event will also feature food tasting, cross making and a cloak display at the church, followed by a spoken word  and music recital.

The event will celebrate the spiritual and symbolic power of the Saint and Goddess Brigid.
