Gardaí from East Clare/Tipperary North were conducting a Mandatory Intoxicant Checkpoint in Newport county Tipperary recently and seized three cars.
One driver was unaccompanied and failed a road side drug wipe test and was arrested and brought to Nenagh Garda Station where a blood sample has been taken and sent for analysis.

A number of Fixed Charge Notices were also issued.
